What's this transition all about?
Acorn is joining Poplar through the sale of its property management business. The Acorn staff are joining the Poplar Team with expanded support and national resources.
While Poplar is the new owner of the business, all Acorn clients will continue to receive the same level of services as they've always had.

Get to know the Poplar platform
On November 21, 2022, Acorn Property Management customers will receive instructions on setting up your Poplar Homes login. You will use this to access your own dashboard.
New Resident Dashboard
On Poplar's dashboard, you can setup rent payments, split payments, submit maintenance requests, and easily move to other Poplar Homes properties if you need to move.
Besides setting your password, you'll need to also connect you bank account for rent payments following the instructions provided by the Poplar Homes team.
Lease a home faster
Acorn residents who need to move in the future, will be able to do so with ease within the Poplar Homes network. Renters can self-tour any available listings and seamlessly transfer into another Poplar Homes across 20 major markets in the US. Rental applications are free and just a tap away.
24/7 maintenance
Acorn residents will benefit from Poplar's 24/7 maintenance support team that handles incoming resident maintenance requests in a timely manner. Poplar will dispatch preferred vendors and provide updates to you through every step of the process.
New benefits under Poplar Homes
Secure Online Payments
With Poplar's Resident Dashboard, you can safely and securely connect your bank account, split rent with roommates, or set up one-time or automatic payments.
StreetCred Home Savings
Poplar residents can earn monthly 'StreetCred' points that they can earn as cashback if they eventually buy a home through Poplar. You'll be able to track your earnings in your dashboard.
Easy Maintenance Reporting
You'll be able to make maintenance requests easier with Poplar's self-service maintenance tools and robust selection criteria to send out the preferred vendor the first time.
